I’m Caolaidhe Keelor, and I created this platform to connect with fellow lovers of wildlife, nature, and meaningful conservation. Birds of a feather flock together—and I’m so glad you’ve landed here.

I’m experienced in training, handling, and caring for a wide range of wildlife species, including eagles, owls, falcons, hawks, vultures, and parrots. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside incredible teams in both education and film, and I hold formal training and certifications across various professional environments.

But beyond the credentials, I simply love animals—deeply and unapologetically. I’m especially passionate about advocacy work, using my voice and platform to raise awareness for species at risk, including Ontario’s native turtles. From educational outreach to hands-on conservation initiatives, I’m committed to protecting the vulnerable creatures we share this planet with.

I find learning endlessly inspiring, and I believe knowledge is most powerful when shared. I hope you’ll join me on this journey of discovery, creativity, and advocacy—for the birds, the turtles, and everything wild in between.

    My Magical Besties

    SAM, DARLING, GIGI & ME

    A few years ago this little crow came into our lives. She was wild. She flew free. She could come and go. But every morning she would tap on the bedroom window to wake us up to come out and ‘play’. She would follow us on our walks with our dog, Sam (the world’s most patient border collie). And later, when we would get a cat, Gigi… they too would become friends.

    WRANGLE ON

    The idea of working with insects, dogs, cats, small animals, farm animals, birds of prey, and exotics was a dream job and showed me that the impossible is possible! Working in film and television and wildlife education was a foundational part of my career.
